Dr. Christina Couch, PsyD

Licensed Psychologist

I’ve been a clinical psychologist for 23 years and my focus has been on working with women with depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions issues, relationship issues, etc, and individuals of the LGBTQIA+ community. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the therapeutic relationship to assist clients with improving their mental health, making positive changes, healing, and striving to be their most authentic selves. I value the mind-body-spiritual connection and incorporate this into my practice. I am a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator (CDWF) trained in the work/research of Brene Brown, Ph.D. My pronouns are she, her, and hers.

Should you decide that you'd like to work together, I will:

  • Collaborate with you to acknowledge and address the issues that you are struggling with.
  • Validate your experiences and pain as you give voice to them, maybe for the first time.
  • Encourage you to be vulnerable and step out of your comfort zone.
  • Help you navigate the possibilities and guide you in the direction of change and growth.
  • Provide you the skills to foster transformation and when necessary, challenge the excuses and barriers to that change.
  • And watch in awe as you stand in your truth, discover your inner power, and become unapologetically authentic!
