Feeling heard and understood is an important part of relationships, including the relationship with your therapist. Being supported and connected while navigating difficulties and/or life choices will be a part of our process of improving emotional health, healing, and being empowered. I enjoy being a part of this process while someone is finding their way through life events and believe in working collaboratively on solving challenges.
I work with adults, children (ages 5+), couples, and families. I am very comfortable working with those in the LGBTQ+ community. I have worked with children and families for 25 years, returning to school to become a therapist in 2016.
Treatment modalities include MBCBT, CBT, DBT, EFT, and ACT techniques, all within a person-centered context.
I love my work and my life outside of work which includes spending time with my family, enjoying outdoor activities, baking, and nurturing my many plants.
