I am a Physician Assistant who is passionate about incorporating both the client's mind and body (through nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness) wellness into my Psychiatry practice. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, OCD, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and perinatal mental health in the adult and children, and adolescent populations. I have taught STEPPS (Systems Training for Emotional Predictability and Problem Solving) which is a highly effective treatment for individuals with borderline personality disorder among other Psychiatric disorders in recent years.
I am originally from California but now live in Iowa City with my family. I enjoy gardening, traveling, playing in the community string orchestra, visiting my large family, and eating different cuisines.
